Living with solar.

Resource-oriented life.

All of our houses on the 30ha property are powered by solar energy. This means that there is an area of around 200 square meters that was made usable without access to public energy networks. Showering and cooking as well as lamps, sockets and other electrical devices are powered by gas and solar energy.

Our philosophy is that all devices such as washing machines are only used when exposed to sunlight to ensure the preservation of the batteries.

Water from the well.

Supply of water.

All roof surfaces of the houses are equipped with gutters so that rainwater can flow directly into our cisterns. Water can be pumped into the house from these cisterns at any time. If there is not enough rainwater - for example over the summer - we also have a pump 130m deep.

The pump, which delivers around 4000 liters of water per hour, fills the cisterns on the property so that water is available at all times.

Vegetables, eggs & meat from our own production

Fresh food within reach.

Last summer we were able to harvest various vegetables such as tomatoes, zucchini, leeks and eggplant by creating beds. The clayey soil makes creating a garden not easy and requires a bit of skill.
